The deep garnet purple 2018 La Dame de Bouärd contains notes of crushed red and black plums, wild blueberries and black cherries with a hint of violets, star anise and smoked meat. The palate is medium to full and has a nice balance, with soft tannins and a background freshness that supports the black and red fruits to a perfumed finish. 10 to 24 months oak.
