A wine from the Les Collines du Bourdic estate in France, in the Duché d’Uzès (Languedoc/Southern Rhône) region.
A characterful southern French red wine made from Syrah and Grenache, with a spicy nose full of garrigue, red jammy fruit and subtle oak notes. On the palate, it is smooth and rich with ripe red berries, herbs, vanilla and a long, silky finish. Unfiltered to preserve its pure character.
Tasting notes:
Full-bodied – spicy – silky smooth – ripe red fruit – a hint of vanilla.
Barrel ageing:
Approximately 20 to 30% of the Syrah is aged in French oak barrels, which adds extra depth, structure and soft vanilla notes.
Ageing potential:
Ready to drink now, but with ageing potential of approximately 5 to 8 years. Peak around 2027–2030.
